You can operate the shaker in continuous mode or set the timer for 1 to 60 minutes for timed studies. An optional chiller, which pumps a mixture of ethylene glycol and water through a cooling coil in the shaker, is needed to achieve temperatures from 20º to 30º C in the chamber, but the chiller works only on the cooling-coil shaker models.
