The QMT-LA 230 series is a frameless torque motor with a 230 mm stator outer diameter and 140 mm rotor inner diameter, designed for direct drive applications. It is a 3-phase synchronous motor with a maximum voltage of 680 V dc and 28 poles. Continuous torque ranges from 68 Nm to 269 Nm depending on stator height (70 mm to 140 mm), with peak torque up to 519 Nm. The motor includes PTC130 and Pt1000 temperature sensors. Thermal resistance varies from 0.038 K/W to 0.127 K/W. Water cooling flow rates range from 1.5 to 5.0 l/min for a ΔT of 8 K. Total mass without cables ranges from 6.5 kg to 16.5 kg. Series approvals are partly approved, with full approval pending.
