The EZA2500-32048CO is a 2500W bi-directional isolated DC-DC converter designed for energy storage systems and battery testing, capable of seamless power transfer between a 48V DC battery bus and a 300-380V DC grid bus. It is housed in a 1U rackmount package measuring 422.8 x 43.6 x 400 mm. The unit operates with over 92% efficiency and supports RS-485 remote control and monitoring. It includes a two-sided PCB coating and a long-life, dust-proof fan, with an operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. Safety certifications include IEC/EN/UL/CSA/EN6095
An ordinary switching power supply is capable of performing power conversion from AC to DC, DC to DC, or DC to AC. On the other hand, a bidirectional converter is a switching power supply that realizes bidirectional power conversion between AC and DC, DC and DC, or DC and AC in a single unit. The EZA series produced by TDK-Lambda consists of bidirectional DC-DC converters capable of performing both step-down and step-up operations in a single unit. It can play the role of stepping down a grid voltage (320 VDC) obtained from renewable energy, etc., to a battery voltage (48 VDC), and the role of stepping up when reversing the battery voltage to the grid voltage in a single unit, thus offering advantages to the customers such as the reduction of installation space.
