The Swissbit F-66 Series is a CFast-sized solid state drive with a form factor of 36.4 mm x 42.8 mm x 3.6 mm, designed for industrial applications requiring high endurance and reliability. It supports SATA Gen3 at 6.0 Gbit/s with backward compatibility to Gen2 and Gen1, and operates over an industrial temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C. The drive uses pSLC flash with 20,000 program/erase cycles, delivers sequential read performance up to 520 MBytes/s and write performance up to 415 MBytes/s, and features hardware ECC with up to 66-bit correction per 1 KByte page. It includes active and passive data care management, S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, on-board power fail protection, and AES256 encryption available on request. Operating voltage is 3.3 V ± 5%, with a maximum power draw of 1.8 W during write operations and a mean time between failures exceeding 2,000,000 hours.
CFast™ cards combine the CompactFlash™ (CF) card form factor and the Serial ATA (SATA) interface into a single product. CFast™ cards can replace both HDDs and CompactFlash™ cards in applications requiring small form factors, high endurance and the ability to withstand shock, vibration, extreme temperatures (-40°C to +85°C), and rough environmental conditions. The Swissbit CFast™ card portfolio covers the range from high-end SLC-based high-performance F-600 to the cost/performance optimized 3D NAND F-86. The different product families are equipped with a rich feature set and are fulfilling the high Swissbit quality requirements.
