The Swissbit F-50 Series CFast 2.0 card is a 16 GByte industrial-grade SATA III storage device with MLC NAND flash, designed for embedded systems requiring high endurance and wide temperature operation. It measures 36.4 mm x 42.8 mm x 3.6 mm and operates from -40°C to 85°C with a 3.3 V ± 5% supply. The device supports SATA Revision 3.1 with up to 500 MBytes/s sequential read and 330 MBytes/s sequential write performance, and includes features such as AHCI, TRIM, NCQ, power fail protection, and S.M.A.R.T. monitoring. Endurance exceeds 150 TBW for client use, with 10-year data retention at life begin. Shock and vibration resistance are rated at 500 g and 20 g respectively.
CFast™ cards combine the CompactFlash™ (CF) card form factor and the Serial ATA (SATA) interface into a single product. CFast™ cards can replace both HDDs and CompactFlash™ cards in applications requiring small form factors, high endurance and the ability to withstand shock, vibration, extreme temperatures (-40°C to +85°C), and rough environmental conditions. The Swissbit CFast™ card portfolio covers the range from high-end SLC-based high-performance F-600 to the cost/performance optimized 3D NAND F-86.
