Allegro MicroSystems Inc. LED Drivers A6282ELWTR-T

The A6282ELWTR-T is a 16-channel constant-current LED driver designed for LED display applications. It supports output currents of up to 50 mA per channel and can drive LED output voltages up to 12 V. The device operates within a logic supply range of 3.0 to 5.5 V and features Schmitt trigger inputs for enhanced noise immunity. The A6282 includes an input shift register and data latches, allowing for direct interfacing with microprocessor-based systems, with a high data input rate of 30 MHz. Output current accuracy is maintained at less than ¬±3% between channels and ¬±7% between ICs across the full operating temperature range of -40 to 85 ¬8C. The device also incorporates internal under-voltage lockout (UVLO) and thermal shutdown (TSD) features for added reliability. It is available in two package options: a 24-pin TSSOP with an exposed thermal pad and a 24-contact QFN package, both of which are lead-free. Typical applications include monocolor and multicolor LED displays, signboards, and backlighting solutions.
