SAFEGUARD® Anti-Slip Walkway Covers Weld-In Installation. Safeguard Technology’s Weld-Tab Anti-Slip Walkway Covers work in areas where adhesives and mechanical fasteners will not allow traditional installation methods. Weld-In Anti-Slip Panels When drilling platforms become wet, muddy, and oily, Anti-Slip protection is essential. Safeguard offers a Hi-Traction® Weld Tab Anti-Slip Walkway Cover that allows you to install a gritted Anti-Slip surface without the use of screws or adhesives. These heavy-duty Walkway Covers are manufactured from 1/8" Pultruded FRP Fiberglass and utilize 4” x 4” 316 stainless steel metal tabs attached around the edge of the Cover. Weld Tab Covers are designed to allow tack-welding directly to the metal/steel substrate. The Covers are not recommended to be welded to one-another.
