The mechanical thermostat KTO 111, part number 11100.9-01, is a normally closed switch with a 14 °F to 122 °F setting, designed for AC 250 V (10 A resistive, 2 A inductive) and AC 120 V (15 A resistive, 2 A inductive) loads, and DC 24-72 V (30 W) loads. It uses push-in terminals for tool-free wiring of rigid wires up to 2.5 mm² (AWG 14) or stranded wires up to 1.5 mm² (AWG 16) with ferrules, and mounts on 35 mm DIN rails. The device has a plastic UL94 V-0 housing, operates at up to 5,000 meters altitude, and meets CCC and CQC standards. The mechanical thermostats KTO 111 and KTS 111 are two state regulators for use up to 5,000 meters in altitude, thanks to optimized air gap and increased creepage distance. By use of Push-In terminals the thermostat is wired tool-free. The Push-In terminals provide constant pressure on the wires to prevent them from coming loose (e.g. during transport).
