The KTO 111 mechanical thermostat is a normally closed (NC) device designed for regulating heaters. It opens the contact when the temperature rises, making it suitable for applications where temperature control is critical. It features a snap-action contact with a verified service life of 100,000 cycles. The KTO 111 is equipped with Push-In terminals for tool-free wiring, ensuring a secure connection that prevents loosening during transport. It is designed for use in environments up to 5,000 meters in altitude, with an operating temperature range of -45 to +80 ¬8C and a humidity tolerance of less than 90% RH (non-condensing). The device is housed in a plastic casing compliant with UL94 V-0 standards and is mounted using a clip for 35 mm DIN rail. The mechanical thermostats KTO 111 and KTS 111 are two state regulators for use up to 5,000 meters in altitude, thanks to optimized air gap and increased creepage distance. By use of Push-In terminals the thermostat is wired tool-free. The Push-In terminals provide constant pressure on the wires to prevent them from coming loose (e.g. during transport).
