S.I.Tech 2950 Ethernet Fiber Optic Media Converter is designed to extend the distance of Ethernet based STP LAN's on a fiber optic cable up to 7 km*. The media converter has RJ45 connector allowing connection to the STP network devices and provides ST, FC, SC or SMA fiber optic connectors (Media Independant Interface (MII) Option). Three LED indicators provide a visible verification of transmission status and media converter functions.
