The Iris MX is a high-speed motion monitoring system that applies Motion Amplification® to visualize minute displacements in machinery for root cause analysis. It captures video at up to 1,400 fps in HD resolution and up to 29,000 fps at reduced resolution, with a frequency range up to 870,000 CPM. Motion can be amplified up to 500x, with minimum displacement detection of 0.01 mils (0.25 μm) at 1 meter using a 50mm lens. The system includes a portable configuration with MIL-STD-810G drop protection, dual hot-swappable batteries, and an i7 processor with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. It supports time waveforms, spectra, motion maps, and data export to .csv files, and features frame and region-based stabilization, video annotation, and side-by-side playback of original and amplified video. Lenses available include 6mm, 12mm, 25mm, 50mm, and 100mm.
