Pyott-Boone Electronics (PBE Group) Amerex Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems Amerex

Description
These systems are designed to warn the equipment operator of potential danger and suppress fires. The systems can help protect major vehicle components such as the engine, transmission, charging system, hydraulic system, and braking and control systems avoiding costly equipment loss, downtime, and most importantly, operator injury. Installation of the Pyott-Boone/Amerex Vehicle Fire Suppression system can qualify you for lower insurance premiums. Many insurance companies have recognized a reduction in claims paid out due to the presence of a fixed vehicle fire suppression system. The systems are configurable to meet any need. Four dashboard mounted panels are available to provide full supervision of all critical circuitry. The most basic, Circuit Monitor, provides monitoring of the detection, and power supply circuits. The status of these circuits is communicated to the vehicle operator by high contrast red and green LEDs. The Circuit Monitor provides a continuous tone audible warning buzzer. The Control Panel adds internal diagnostic LED's and a time delayed relay circuit that can be used to actuate vehicle shutdown controls such as a fuel shut-off solenoid, or peripheral safety or warning equipment such as a strobe light. The Control Panel also gives the option for the monitoring of agent cylinder pressure. Both systems provide for battery back-up in the event that the vehicle power supply should fail. All units are constructed in watertight enclosures that include strain reliefs for entering and exiting wires. All units are intended to act as the main junction box for detection, actuation, pressure monitoring, and power circuits. The Cylinders are charged with multi-purpose ABC dry chemical. They have an operating pressure of 350 psi and are constructed of welded steel to DOT 4BW specifications. A pressure gauge is mounted on the tank for maintenance checks to insure that pressure is within the operating range. The cylinder is installed in a mounting bracket, making the overall size 17 13/16"H x 12 3/8"W x 9"D. The mounting brackets are equipped with stainless steel bolts and thick rubber pads to protect the agent cylinders during vehicle movement.
