Following an extensive series of diesel dynamometer endurance tests both in-house and with a major OEM manufacturer, Power Test is proud to announce our newest series of engine dynamometers. The H36-Series diesel dynamometer is specifically designed to handle the high torque output of diesel engines found in the mining, power generation, and marine propulsion industries. Based on the proven performance and reliability of our popular 45X-Series dynamometers, the H36-Series diesel dyno is destined to become the new industry standard for high torque, low speed diesel engine dyno power verification and testing. Specifications Power ranges in excess of 8,000 HP Speeds to 2,500 RPM Torque up to 45,000 ft-lbs Construction The H36-Series diesel dynamometer features a trunnion-mounted, fixed base design. This diesel dyno provides equal load capability in either direction of rotation. The through shaft design allows either end of the diesel dynamometer to be driven and for dynamometer mounted starting systems to be attached and used. Although supplied to provide long term service, internationally available bearings and seals are used in every H36-Series diesel dyno and are located in easy-to-access cartridges to allow field service without the need for diesel engine dynamometer removal or specialty tools.
