The BST-NC is a fail-safe, normally-closed, air-operated shutoff valve with spring return, designed for automatic closure upon air supply loss. Constructed with a Type 1 Grade 1 Geon PVC body and a glass-filled PTFE shaft, it supports a maximum liquid line pressure of 100 PSI and requires 45 PSI minimum air pressure to open. The valve features a clear acrylic cylinder for visual position indication, a patented Fail-Dry safety vent, and is rated for pressure or vacuum service. Air inlet connections are 1/8" NPT, and it operates with a 3-way solenoid valve. The valve is available in sizes from 1/2" to 2" NPT, uses Viton or EPDM seals, and is individually tested with a million-cycle design.
