Picosecond Pulse Labs, Inc. Surface Mount DC Block Model SM500

Description
Features 50 Ohm Surface Mount Device 7 kHz to 35 GHz Low Insertion Loss Small Footprint: .236"x.158" Applications Telecommunications Systems Transmitters Receivers The Picosecond Advantage: Excellent transient response and low insertion loss in a high performance DC Block that drops into your board design!Description: The Model SM500 is an ultra-broadband, surface-mount DC Block designed for use in systems up to 20 Gb/s. It passes very fast risetime pulses with a minimum of waveform distortion. It offers a 10 ps risetime, and the -3 dB bandwidth extends over many decades from 7 kHz to 35 GHz. The small size and low cost enable system designers to achieve increasingly stringent package size and cost goals. As a leadless, solder-mount, electrical component, it can be connected to microstrip lines on a circuit board. This component is ideal for automated assembly. Note: A product guide, PG-3043 "Model SM500 DC Block Mounting and Testing Notes", which provides guidelines for PC board assembly processing and precision frequency response testing is available on request.
