60 Plus linear shafting made from high carbon C1060 steel provides the highest machinability of case hardened and ground steel shafting. LEE LINEAR manufactures 60 Plus shafting using proprietary processes with the newest technology in heat treating. Throughout the entire process, care is taken to maintain straightness, roundness, and surface finish.

Pre-Drilled shafting from LEE LINEAR is comprised of both 60 Plus and 440C shafting pre-drilled with a standard industrial hole pattern meeting most application requirements. Holes are drilled and tapped to the center of the shaft. When ordering, different first-hole locations may be specified as long as the requested location is not greater than the standard hole spacing. Pre-drilled metric sizes are available in 60 Plus shafting. For longer lengths, pre-drilled shafts can be butt or dowel jointed.

LEE LINEAR Ready Shafts are available in C1060 and 440C linear shafting, and in diameters from 1/4 to 1-1/2 inch. Ready Shafts offer immediate delivery of a precision linear shaft that is cut to length, chamfered, straightened to within 0.002 inch per foot, a surface finish of 8 to 14 Ra, and packaged in a VCI plastic sleeve to prevent corrosion. Ready Shafts can be shipped the same day an order is received.
