Positive Fresnel lenses are designed for light management with a standard PMMA material and a thickness of 1.8 mm or 2.5 mm. The SC 213-600 has a focal length of 763.4 mm, a clear aperture of 600.0 x 590.0 mm², and is optimized for infinite conjugate on the Fresnel side with a plano conjugate distance of 763.4 mm, operating at 546 nm with a ±5% tolerance.
Positive Fresnel Lenses can be designed as a collimator, collector or with finite conjugates. They are usually corrected for spherical aberration.
The designs can be trimmed according to customer requirements (within limits of clear aperture). It is possible to combine a Fresnel lens structure with other structures like diffusers or microlens arrays in the same part through double-sided structuring. Optical coatings for increased efficiency are possible.
