The KL Series are linear rod type position transducers designed for space-constrained measuring applications, with a housing width of 13 mm. They feature a conductive plastic resistance element, a precious metal multi-finger wiper, and a 1 m PUR cable for electrical connections. The series supports travel distances of 10 to 100 mm, with resistance values of 1 kΩ or 5 kΩ, a resistance tolerance of ±20%, and independent linearity up to ±0.25%. Repeatability is 0.05 mm, and maximum wiper current is limited to 1 µA under normal operation. The devices operate from -25°C to +75°C, withstand 10 × 10⁶ movements, and meet IP65 protection. Radial shaft loading is limited to 1 N, with a maximum actuating force of 3 N and a speed limit of 0.1 m/s. Mounted via two M2 screws, weights range from 19 to 42 g depending on stroke length.
