The HVM-2t is a vertical drive optic mount specifically made for thin 2-in. optics. The mount uses a threaded retaining ring to secure optics having a thickness of 6.7 mm or less. Also included with the mount is a 0.5-mm thick Delrin washer to protect the optic from damage during tightening of the retaining ring. The HVM-2t also features a rear-loading design to ensure the front face of the optic is always in the same location regardless of its thickness. The mount has standard features like a 1.5-in. optical axis height, 80-TPI hex key locking actuators, and an exceptionally thin 21-mm profile. The HVM-2t is designed with several mounting options including a center clearance hole for #8 or M4 screws, two #8 threaded mounting holes and two M4 threaded mounting holes. Compact Geometry Top adjust mirror mounts feature a slimmer profile and smaller footprint than traditional mounts. As such, they can often fit more easily into tight or restricted spaces when traditional mounts may not. Top adjust mirror mounts are ideal for use in laser cavities, OEM, and industrial applications due to their exceptionally slim profile and accessible actuators. Alignment Pin Holes These mounts feature alignment pin holes (illustrated in red) on the bottom (base) of the mount to enable keying of the position and orientation by means of dowel pins for repeatable system integration and to prevent clocking effects. (Note: Dowel pins not included with mount.) This is especially helpful in OEM applications.
