Newport MKS Multimode Fiber, Graded Index, 850/1300 nm, 0.20 NA, 50 µm Core. F-MSD

Description
The F-MSD (Mfg. P/N: BF04430-01) graded-index multi-mode fiber optic cable is optimized for transmission at 850 and 1300 nm. It has a 50 μm core and 125 μm cladding diameter, a 0.200 NA, and features large bandwidth and low attenuation. This fiber has a 245 μm acrylate buffer coating allowing for continuous operation in the -65°C to +135°C temperature range. This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter. The following volume discount schedule is applied when ordering continuous lengths of optical fiber: 10 - 49 m: 15%, 50 - 99 m: 22%, 100 - 499 m: 25%, and ≥ 500 m: 28%. Large Bandwidth with Low Attenuation Utilizing a graded-index design, these multimode fibers demonstrate a large bandwidth of operation while providing low attenuation. The graded-index design also provides a significant decrease in modal dispersion when compared to step-index fibers. Standard and Custom Patch Cables Available Standard patch cables are available in several standard lengths with FC, ST, and SMA connectors. If you need custom configuration, please use our custom patch configurator model: F-PATCH-CUSTOM
