Newport MKS Integrating Sphere Detector, Collimated Beam, 2.0 in., 800-1650 nm 819C-IG-2-CAL2

Description
The 819C-IG-2-CAL2 is a NIST traceable calibrated integrating sphere detector using a 2 inch integrating sphere with a high performance InGaAs photodetector. The input port size is 0.5 in. diameter and the wavelength range is 800-1650 nm. It comes with an SMA fiber optic connector on the North pole as a standard feature allowing a small amount of light pickoff for wavelength measurement or any further analysis without affecting the overall system calibration. Note that the system calibration is no longer valid if any component is changed from the original calibrated configuration. For a very high power level, elevated temperature of the integrating sphere system can affect the measurement accuracy so the sphere must be temperature controlled. It is replacing 819C-IG-2-CAL.

Datasheet Summary
Powered by GS/AI

The 819C-IG-2-CAL2 is a NIST-traceable calibrated integrating sphere detector for collimated beams, featuring a 2-inch sphere and an InGaAs photodiode with a wavelength range of 800 to 1650 nm. It has a 0.5-inch input port and supports maximum power measurements up to 7 W. Linearity is specified at ±1%. An SMA fiber optic connector is standard for light pickoff without affecting calibration. Calibration uncertainty is 2.4% from 900 to 1430 nm and 2.6% from 1430 to 1600 nm. Power handling varies with wavelength: 7 W from 800 to 1000 nm and 3.5 W from 1001 to 1650 nm. Temperature control is required for accurate high-power measurements.
