The 60005 Reflector Assembly is designed for installation inside the Q Series lamp housing. When located at the port opposite the condenser assembly, it collects the radiation reflected back from the light source and redirects it towards the condenser to increase optical power. Its MgF2 coating is an excellent broadband reflector. When installed into the 60000 lamp housing, adjustment knobs for tilt and focus are externally accessible.
One reflector is included with preconfigured Q Series Light Sources using arc lamps and quartz tungsten halogen lamps. If the Q Housing is being configured by ordering individual parts, the 60005 is optional and must be ordered separately from the 60000 Housing. Arc lamp and IR emitter configurations may use two Reflector Assemblies when two condensers are installed. A single reflector works best with Quartz Tungsten Halogen lamps. Note that the 60005 Reflector Assembly is not for use with deuterium lamps. If the reflector requires replacement, order model 60015.
