The JWL series is a high inrush rocker switch rated for 16A at 125/250V AC and 5A at 72V DC, designed for applications requiring large inrush current handling. It features a TV-8 rating per UL and CSA, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +85°C for panel seal models. The switch includes an IP67-rated panel seal, interior dust-resistant sealing, and solder lug/quick connect terminals. Contacts are silver alloy with copper and silver plating, and the housing is made of polyamide (UL94V-0). The case is molded with epoxy-sealed terminals for contamination resistance. Electrical and mechanical life is rated at 25,000 operations minimum. The model includes an international ON-OFF symbol marking for compliance and is designed to minimize contact bounce and prevent light contact welds.
