NKK Switches Standard Size Rotary HS16-5SN

The HS16-5SN is a 6-pole, 12A at 125V AC, 6A at 250V AC, nonshorting rotary switch with 30° indexing. It features a D-flat shaft, phenolic resin knob and case, brass shaft and bushing with nickel plating, phosphor bronze movable contacts, and brass with silver plating stationary contacts. It has a mechanical life of 15,000 operations and an electrical life of 7,500 operations. Operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +70°C. The switch accepts a mounting torque of 2.94 Nm and is UL recognized when ordered with the appropriate suffix. Contact resistance is ≤10 milliohms, insulation resistance ≥200 megohms at 500V DC, and dielectric strength is 1,500V AC for 1 minute.
