NKK Switches Process Sealed Subminiature Pushbutton AB11CV

The AB series consists of sealed subminiature pushbuttons designed for low-voltage, logic-level circuit applications. The unit features a subminiature form factor with 2.54mm x 2.54mm terminal spacing, conforming to standard PCB grid layouts. It has a nonshorting contact mechanism with a nominal operating force of 2.55N, travel of 1.1mm total, and a mechanical and electrical life of 50,000 operations. Contact resistance is 50 milliohms maximum, insulation resistance is 500 megohms minimum at 500V DC, and dielectric strength is 500V AC for one minute. The plunger is made of polyacetal, the housing of glass fiber reinforced polyamide, and contacts are gold-plated phosphor bronze or brass. Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +85°C. The switch is suitable for wave or manual soldering and resists contamination through sealed terminals. The AB11CV variant is a single-pole, vertical-type switch with a pushbutton cap, as indicated by the ordering code. No UL or CSA certifications apply.
