The SR type stroke bush is a linear and rotational motion bearing that combines high-speed linear stroke with rotary motion using a zigzag-arranged ball retainer made of light metal alloy, mounted in a heat-treated and ground high-carbon chromium bearing steel outer cylinder. It supports strokes up to approximately twice the retainer travel length and is available in inner contact diameters from 6 mm to 100 mm. The design allows for combined motion with low friction and includes one lubrication hole per oil groove. Maximum operating temperature is -20 ℃ to 110 ℃. Mounting requires proper shaft fit (k5, m5 for shaft; H6, H7 for housing) and surface hardness of at least 58 HRC with surface roughness under Ra 0.4. Sealed variants (SR-UU) are available with dual rubber seals. The maximum stroke is limited to 80% of the dimensional table value to prevent retainer slippage.
