Description
Extending your USB peripherals (i.e. computer keyboard, mouse or hard drive) up to 100 meter / 330 feet away from the location of your computer are done easily with the USB UTP Extender/Hub. The USB UTP Extender/Hub signal is sent between the transmitter and receiver unit controls USB peripherals by buffering the USB signal through send and receive line drivers. The signal is extended using CAT5E/CAT6 cable. Tech Note: Standard pre-made stranded copper patch cords can not be used with this product. Solid-gauge CAT5E/CAT6 cable must be used. Recommended length of USB cable between computer and transmitter is 1 ft. (USB 1 ft. cable included with set). Not compatible with some web cam (video streaming) and touch-screen overlay monitor applications.
