Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc. Intumescent / Silicone Coated Fiberglass ARMATEX® SIF 28

Mid-Mountain has developed ARMATEX^® ISF Coated Fabrics, which combine an intumescent coating on one side with a silicone coating on the other, resulting in a product that is excellent for use in passive fire protection. Originally developed for use as fire and smoke barriers for air cargo, ARMATEX^® ISF Coated Fabrics can be used in protective applications outdoors as well due to its high UV resistance, moisture resistance, and mildew resistance.

Mid-Mountain manufactures flexible, coated fabrics for use as fire protective materials in applications such as air cargo covers, fire doors, smoke barriers and construction protective barriers.

ARMATEX^® SIF Coated Fabrics are manufactured with a fiberglass fabric coated one side with an intumescent coating, and the other side with a silicone rubber coating. The result is a very durable, flexible fabric that offers increased resistance to flame, moisture and mildew, and dirt. ARMATEX^® SIF Coated Fabrics Series are also very UV resistant, therefore excellent products for both indoor or outdoor use.

ARMATEX^®SF2 12-NF is manufactured with a high performance fiberglass fabric coated with an innovative polymer coating that enhances strength and flame resistance characteristics. With high UV and weather resistance, ARMATEX^®SF2 12-NF is deal for use where a lightweight, flexible fire retardant fabric is needed.
