The SAMA5D27C-D1G is a high-performance, low-power Arm Cortex-A5 CPU-based embedded microprocessor (MPU) running up to 500 MHz, with 1Gbit DDR2 memory. The device integrates powerful peripherals for connectivity and user interface applications, and offers advanced security functions (Arm TrustZone® , tamper detection, secure data storage, secure boot, etc.), as well as high-performance crypto accelerators AES, SHA and TRNG. The SAMA5D2 series is delivered with free Linux® distributions, MPLAB X IDE, MPLAB Harmony v3 and bare metal C examples. Microchip provides fully tested and validated power management solutions complying with the SAMA5D27C-D1G specific power sequencing needs -enabling a risk-free solution immediately on first power-up.
