The Connect SDK from Optris offers a comprehensive solution for integrating Optris infrared cameras into various applications. It provides extensive functionalities through the PIX Connect software. Designed for Windows platforms, the Connect SDK requires the PIX Connect software to run in the background, enabling interprocess communication (IPC) between the Optris software and a third-party software application. This API supports various operations, allowing users to embed colors, temperatures, or ADU values from the infrared camera into other applications via a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) without having to deal with radiometric data processing, calibration files, and hardware-related settings.One of the key advantages of the Connect SDK is its extensive feature set, which mirrors most of the capabilities found in the very capable PIX Connect software. Users can change color palettes, convert temperature units, scale temperature ranges, adjust display frame rates, trigger the shutter, and access the process interface.
