The MSA V-TEC Self-Retracting Lifeline is a fall protection device designed to control cable retraction speed to less than 3 m/s and minimize downtime with field-serviceable components. It features a clear outer casing for easy inspection, a stainless steel or galvanized steel cable, a spring radial energy-absorbing technology requiring no calibration, and a carry handle for transport. The device is available in 20 ft (6 m) length and is certified to ANSI and CSA standards.
With premium stainless steel components and innovative engineering, the V-TEC Self Retracting Lifeline incorporates a precision-made spring radial energy absorber that requires zero calibration or adjustment. The retraction dampening feature controls cable retraction speeds preventing pre-mature and accidental load indicator deployment.
