The 400 Series Hall probes are axial, transverse, multi-axis, and tangential sensors for measuring magnetic flux density, available in various stem lengths and materials including aluminum, fiberglass epoxy, brass, and flexible plastic tubing. They operate from DC to 50 kHz depending on model, with full-scale field ranges from 3.5 G to 350 kG. Operating temperature range is 0 °C to +75 °C for standard probes, and cryogenic variants support temperatures as low as 80 K. Most probes have a 2 m cable, with 6 m, 10 m, and 30 m options available. Stem diameters range from 0.06 mm to 0.25 mm, and stem lengths from 2 in to 60 in. Multi-axis probes measure three magnetic field vectors simultaneously and are designed for Model 460 gaussmeters only.
By default, each probe has a 2 m long cable (except Model 410 and cryogenic probes). Also available: 3 m, 6 m, 10 m, 20 m, and 30 m lengths.
