2988 is a surface mount coin cell retainer designed for 7.9mm diameter batteries such as Size 13, DA13, AZ13E, 393, SR754, and SR48. It is constructed from 0.006 inch (0.15 mm) phosphor bronze with a gold flash plate finish, and features a solder tail for secure surface mount attachment. The retainer measures 0.339 inch [8.6 mm] in length and 0.125 inch [3.2 mm] in width, with a mounting footprint requiring a minimum 0.125 inch square pad. It is available on tape and reel with 24 mm width and 12 mm pitch, 13 inch reels containing 800 pieces per reel.
