The SC-2440 is a self-contained analog output displacement sensor designed for high-repeatability automation applications with ferrous targets. It operates on 15 to 30 Vdc, provides a 0 to 10 Vdc output proportional to displacement, and includes built-in temperature monitoring with a 0.50 to 1.20 VDC output sensitive at 10 mV/°C for active thermal compensation. The sensor has a measurement range of 4.0 mm for steel targets and 2.5 mm for aluminum targets, with a resolution of 0.001 mm and repeatability of 0.01% FS. It features reverse polarity and short circuit protection, IP-67 environmental rating, a nickel-plated steel body, and operates within 0° to 70°C. Warm-up time is under one minute, and output load current is under 50 mA.
