Flow-through biosensor for multiparametric measurement of glucose and lactate using enzymatic amperometric detection, with an integrated flow cell of approximately 1 μl and Luer lock fluidic connections. The ruggedized version features an edge-card connector compatible with MEC6-RA sockets, with 40 pins in two rows (8 used), and operates within a temperature range of 15-42 °C and pH 6-8. The sensor requires buffered media with chloride ions and has a response time of less than 25 seconds. Sterilization is compatible with gamma and beta irradiation up to 25 kGy, with a shelf life exceeding 6 months when stored desiccated between +4 °C and +35 °C. Operational lifetime is greater than 60 days for glucose at 20 mM and greater than 7 days for lactate at 8 mM. Not for medical, diagnostic, or human use.
