The IND-800 is ideally suited for system integrators and end users who require a rugged Industrial PC designed to be mounted on the backpanel of NEMA enclosures. It is specifically intended for applications requiring a system that can endure the extremes of temperature, humidity, airborne contaminants, shock and vitration found on the factory floor. The IND-800 and it's 8-slot ISA passive backplane are IBM AT compatible and support all popular operating systems, development tools and industrial/scientifi c application software packages. This combination provides a foundation for creating solutions to a multitude of factory floor and laboratory problems. A low profile version, designated IND-800LP , is available for applications with severe space constraints. Although is is only six inches deep, it provides all the Features of the standard IND-800 execpt for removable drive mounting and the DB connector cut outs.
