The R Series is an ultra-compact rotary electric actuator designed for small ball valves and dampers, delivering 100 in-lbs (11.3 Nm) torque. It operates on 12 Vdc, 115 Vac, or 230 Vac, with cycle times of 2.5 seconds at 115/230 Vac and 2.9 seconds at 12/24 Vdc or 24 Vac. The actuator features a permanent split capacitor motor with thermal overload protection, a NEMA 4-rated aluminum enclosure with thermally bonded polyester powder coating, and ISO 5211 F03/F04 mounting. It includes a spring friction brake, non-declutching manual override, visual dome indicator, and 15 A SPDT auxiliary switches. Duty cycle is 25% for AC and 75% for DC and 24 Vac. Operating temperature is -4°F to 104°F (-20°C to 40°C), with optional heating for lower ranges. Weight is 7 lb (3.2 kg). Certified to CSA C22.2 No. 139-10 and UL 429.
The R Series compact rotary electric actuator was specifically designed for small ball valves and dampers. This heavy duty reversing actuator develops 100 lb·in torque and rotates form 0 to 90 in 2.5 seconds. The spur gear drive train has been designed for severe applications and as in all ICI actuators can with stand stall conditions without suffering gear failure. The heavy-duty aluminum enclosure meets NEMA 4 specifications and has a thermally bonded ultraviolet resistant polyester powder coating that not only enhances its appearance but also is a tough corrosion resistant coating.
Standard equipment includes 115Vac-1ph motor with thermal over load protection, stainless steel fasteners, captive cover screws and 300 series stainless steel output drive, spring friction brake, non-declutching manual over ride and position indicator.
