Stablelock pull clamps provide very quick and secure fastening for repetitive machine operations. They consist of a clamp base used with clamping screws. These pull clamps mount under a workpiece that the clamping screws are attached to, which allows the surface that will be machined to be accessible to the cutting tool. By turning the handle, the base clamp pulls the pin downward and secures it in position. The clamping force is constant and the handle has a "click" feel at the clamping end point, preventing workpiece damage due to overtightening. Indication lines on the handle and body align to clearly show when the clamp is locked or unlocked. Standard screws and locating screws are both available (sold separately). Also available, an extension unit (sold separately) allows the clamp to be operated from a distance, as well as allowing the linkage of two units together for simultaneous operation. The pull down clamp body is made from 1045 steel. The cam and piston are made from 4140 steel. The shaft handle is made from 304 stainless steel.
