The Optica Series chilled mirror hygrometers provide NIST-traceable measurements of dew point, temperature, and pressure for calibration and precision humidity control. The instruments use a chilled mirror with a rhodium or platinum reflective surface and a thermoelectric cooling module to directly measure dew or frost point with an accuracy of ±0.36°F (±0.2°C), optionally enhanced to ±0.27°F (±0.15°C). A four-wire 100 Ω platinum RTD and a silicon piezoresistive pressure transducer enable calculation of additional humidity parameters such as relative humidity, enthalpy, and absolute humidity. The analyzer features Ethernet connectivity, a 6 MB data logger, Java-based web interface, color VGA or matrix display, and programmable analog outputs. Chilled mirror sensors require a flow rate of 0.5 to 5 SCFH and are field-replaceable. The unit supports multiple voltage inputs and is designed for lab, process, and environmental applications. Benchtop models may include a rack mount bracket.
GE’s Optica Series chilled mirror hygrometers offer National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST)—traceable humidity, temperature and pressure measurements for the connected generation. Now data is accessible from anywhere, any time, from within a browser over the Internet or from your Intranet.
