The Collette Ultima™ is the ultimate single-pot processor for mixing, drying and granulation, available in a range of sizes for R&D to full-scale production. The Ultima incorporates all available vacuum drying techniques (vacuum, gas-assisted vacuum or Transflo™, microwave/vacuum). This gives you the opportunity to test all these techniques alone or in combination and select the most appropriate one for your product, all within the same equipment. Ultima™ 400/600 /1200 The new range of high shear mixer-granulator-dry ers, the Ultima™ range, also includes large capacity equipment. The first Ultimas for pharmaceutical production are the Ultima™ 400 and the Ultima 600 and Ultima 600 with a bowl capacity of respectively 400-L ,600-L and Ultima™ 1200-L. These machines are built through the wall and have a modular design. The Ultima™ can be supplied as simple high-shear-mixer or equipped with any of the drying techniques available for the smaller sizes (vacuum, Transflo™, microwaves, swinging bowl). For some options it is even possible to retrofit the machine. For example: an Ultima™ high shear mixer can be retrofitted to become a vacuum dryer or a microwave dryer. Also the video system or the WIP system can be added later on.
