Exceed™ Tough+ m 0814, also known as Exceed™ XP 8784 Series, is a metallocene polyethylene copolymer designed for blown film applications. It features a density of 0.914 g/cm³ and a melt index of 0.80 g/10 min, indicating good processability. The product exhibits high tensile strength, with values of 1300 psi (8.6 MPa) in the machine direction and 1400 psi (9.4 MPa) in the transverse direction at yield. It also demonstrates significant elongation at break, reaching 330% in the machine direction and 620% in the transverse direction.
This polymer is suitable for a variety of applications, including barrier films, freezer films, laminated sacks, liquid packaging, and sachets. It is available in multiple regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. The product does not intentionally contain tris(nonylphenol)phosphite (TNPP) and can be used in food contact applications, subject to migration or use limitations.
