Exceed,Ñ¢ Tough+ m 0814 Series, formerly known as Exceed,Ñ¢ XP 8784 Series, is a metallocene polyethylene copolymer designed for blown film applications. It offers high toughness, excellent sealing performance, and easy processing, making it suitable for a variety of packaging needs, including barrier films, freezer films, laminated sacks, liquid packaging, and sachets. The product has a density of 0.914 g/cm¬= and a melt index of 0.80 g/10 min at 190¬8C. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength at yield of 1300 psi in the machine direction (MD) and 1400 psi in the transverse direction (TD), with elongation at break values of 330% MD and 620% TD. The material also exhibits a dart drop impact resistance of 910 g and tear strengths of 310 g MD and 460 g TD. Exceed,Ñ¢ Tough+ m 0814 is available in various regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. It can be used in food contact applications in compliance with EU and FDA regulations, although specific migration or use limitations may apply. The product does not intentionally contain Tris(nonylphenol)phosphite (TNPP).
