Exact,Ñ¢ 3236, also known as Exxtra,Ñ¢ Seal POP 2008.MA, is an ethylene-based plastomer designed for both monolayer and multilayer film applications. This resin exhibits a lower seal initiation temperature than typical densities would suggest, along with high toughness and stiffness, making it suitable for enhancing packaging line speeds. It is particularly effective in barrier food packaging, blown film, freezer film, lamination film, and multilayer packaging film. The resin is available in pellet form and has a density of 0.908 g/cm¬=. It features a melt index of 2.0 g/10 min at 190¬8C and a peak melting temperature of 237¬8F (114¬8C). The Vicat softening temperature is 194¬8F (90¬8C). Film properties include a tensile strength at yield of 860 psi (5.9 MPa) in the machine direction and 790 psi (5.4 MPa) in the transverse direction, with elongation at break values of 480% and 570%, respectively. The resin also demonstrates good impact resistance with a dart drop impact of 800 g. This product does not contain intentionally added Tris(nonylphenol)phosphite (TNPP) and is not intended for medical applications.
