The SANTEST GYMS is a compact linear displacement and level measurement probe with an IP67 protection rating and linearity of ≦±0.025%FS. The sensor head is constructed from SS304 stainless steel and features a threaded rod available in M20xP1.0, M16xP2.0, M20xP1.5, M18xP1.5, or 3/4-16UNF-3A configurations, with rod diameters of Φ6, Φ8, or Φ10 depending on stroke length. It supports effective strokes from 15 to 3000 mm and operates under a maximum pressure of 35 MPa. The probe uses an Omron XS2C-D4S1 (straight) or D4S2 (L-type) connector with PBT plastic housing, and cable lengths up to 10 m are supported, with extension cables allowing total lengths up to 100 m. Operating temperature ranges from -25°C to 85°C, storage temperature from -40°C to 85°C, with a vibration resistance of 6G (40 Hz, 2 mm peak-to-peak), and a temperature drift of ≦±40 ppm FS/°C.
SANTEST's GYMS probe/GYMSC controller is a compact, low-cost type series adopting newly developed signal detecting method. GYMS probe has interchangeability in mechanical dimension with GYMT series, also protection graded up to IP67. Optional connector cable out variety presents more flexible handling of probe. GYMS probe in combination with GYMSC controller outputs 0-10V or 4-20mA analog signals. GYMS probe can be used also in combination with GYHC or GYDC-05 controller, which provides velocity output or digital output.
