The Environics Series 3000 is a gas blending and delivery system designed for on-site mixing of pure bulk gases to replace premixed cylinders, using precision thermal mass flow controllers for repeatable blends. It operates via a color touch screen HMI with integrated PLC and standard Ethernet connectivity, supporting remote monitoring and control through free software. The system is housed in a NEMA 4 wall-mount enclosure with 316 stainless steel fittings and tubing, and includes an in-line static mixer for homogenous gas blending. Repeatability is specified up to ±0.05% of full-scale, with flow control calibrated at 11 points traceable to NIST. Optional features include mass flow meters for independent blend verification, visual/audible alarms, gas humidification, and oxygen-compatible construction.
The Environics Series 3000 gas delivery/blending system offers on-site gas blending of 100% pure bulk gases and is configured to provide a solution to using costly premixed cylinders of gas. Software is customized to the end-users needs. Unlike premixed cylinders, the Environics model 3000 provides a repeatable blend of gases, using precision thermal mass flow controllers. The system offers flexibility in addressing particular process and market needs. Although two and three gas mixtures are more common, gas mixtures of more constituents can be produced. The primary benefits of the system are cost savings in using pure gases versus premixed cylinders as well as the repeatability of the mixture.
