The HI-EX¬Æ Metal-Polymer Lubricated Lead Free Bearings from GGB are designed for applications in automotive and industrial sectors, including diesel fuel pumps, hydraulic motors, and wind energy equipment. These bearings feature a marginally lubricated composite material that offers good wear resistance under thin film conditions. They are available with standard indents for optimal lubricant retention and distribution, as well as a non-indented overlay for hydrodynamic applications. These bearings can operate at high temperatures up to 250¬8C (480¬8F) and are suitable for low viscosity fluids. They also exhibit good chemical resistance and are made from lead-free materials compliant with ELV, RoHS, and WEEE specifications. Custom bearing forms can be made to order, including cylindrical bushes, thrust washers, and special shapes. The bearings have a maximum sliding speed of 2.5 m/s when grease lubricated and 10.0 m/s when oil lubricated, with a maximum pU factor of 80,000 psi¬?fpm for grease and 286,000 psi¬?fpm for oil. The coefficient of friction ranges from 0.03 to 0.12, depending on lubrication type.
