The thermocouple probe Type K is a simple PTFE thermocouple wire complete with a moulded plug. The sensors consist of either a 1 or 3m length of class I thermocouple wire terminated in a moulded-on-miniature thermocouple plug. This can be used on a range of applications. The probe is often used as an embedded sensor in construction, paper electronic and packaging industries. K Type thermocouples are ideal to use in most general applications due to their ability to work in wide temperature ranges. They can be used in kilns, gas turbine exhausts, diesel engines and other industrial processes. Including flame sensors in safety devices for gas powered appliances. Exposed thermocouple junction at one end. Moulded thermocouple termination plug. Total encapsulation technique for maximum strength and durability. High accuracy thermocouple material throughout.
