The EDC334Z5R5C is a 70 ºC long life electric double layer supercapacitor designed for integrated circuit voltage backup and battery power delivery. It has a capacitance of 0.33 F, a rated voltage of 5.5 Vdc, and an ESR of 75 Ω at 1 kHz. The part is in a thru hole stacked coin type package with a radial mounting style and dimensions consistent with the C1 case code: 12.5 ±0.5 mm diameter, 13.5 mm maximum height, and 5 ±0.5 mm lead spacing. The operating temperature range is -25 ºC to +70 ºC, with capacitance change within ±30% after life, shelf life, moisture resistance, and temperature cycling tests. The ESR remains within specified multipliers of the initial value under all stress conditions.
