Columbia Chemical Corporation Zinc Nickel Plating COLLOY® NI-Z-POSIT

Description
COLLOY® NI-Z-POSIT is a process for plating a zinc/nickel alloy from an alkaline cyanide-free zinc plating solution. The resulting alloy deposit which contains 10% to 15% nickel, is evenly distributed at low, mid and high current densities, and provides greatly enhanced corrosion resistance compared to plain zinc plating. The zinc nickel deposit accepts a variety of specially developed silver, blue and black chromate conversion coatings for added corrosion protection required to meet General Motors GMW 4700B.
