Clippard Oxygen Clean Series Electronic Valves O-ECO-3

Description
Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Inc. introduces the all-new Oxygen Clean Series electronic valves. Available in 2-way or 3-way, normally-closed or fully ported, the valves are designed for use with oxygen applications and will work with air and inert gas. The "O-E" Series pneumatic valves utilize a unique patented valve system that has been used and proven throughout many industries. With a low power consumption of only 0.67 watts, a response time of 5 to 10 milliseconds, and voltages of 6, 12, or 24 volt DC, these new valves offer unlimited flexibility in design. The valves are ultrasonically cleaned, assembled, inspected and tested in an enclosed controlled area with a state-of-the-art positive pressure High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtration system.

The O-ECO-3 is an oxygen-clean version of Clippard's EV series solenoid valves, designed for contamination-sensitive applications with clean, dry air and compatible gases. It features a 2- or 3-way configuration with normally-open or normally-closed functions, and is available in in-line or manifold mounting with #10-32 or M5 ports. The valve operates at 12 or 24 VDC with a 90 to 150% voltage range, consuming 0.67 watts nominal, and responds in 5 to 10 ms at 25 psig. It has a maximum flow of 17 l/min at 100 psig, a maximum operating pressure of 105 psig (7.2 bar), and an operating temperature range of 32 to 180°F (0 to 82°C). The wetted materials include ENP brass, nickel alloy, and stainless steel, with FKM seals and nickel alloy springs, manufactured using ultrasonic cleaning in an ISO 7 clean room without organic sealants or lubricants. Cycle life exceeds 1,000,000,000 operations in ideal conditions.
