TSI's Single-Jet Atomizer Model 9302 is the most cost-effective way to generate a polydisperse aerosol stream from a simple compressed air source. It is also our simplest atomizer with a built-in pressure regulator for controlling air from an external source. Model 9302 produces particles in concentrations over 107 particles/cm3 at a nominal flow rate of 6.5 L/min. The outlet mean arithmetic droplet size (D10) of 4~5 µm and 40,000 particles/cc make the 9302 ideal for LDV and PDPA system alignment, especially three-component systems. These values are typical for water at 175 kPa (25 psi) inlet pressure. The convenient pressure control and flexible outlet tube allow the user to put the correct amount of aerosol right where it's needed. The translucent reservoir allows the user to see exactly how much fluid is in the unit.
